Joint Camp

If you are going to have a knee or hip replaced, you will participate in a "Joint Camp." During this session, you will meet with a member of each of the different departments that will be involved in your surgical and recovery journey. This includes surgical nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists, physical therapists, social workers, and others key staff members. Patients will also have the opportunity to tour the facility, and will learn what to expect before, during and after surgery.

Recovery Options

Mile Bluff provides several recovery options for patients to utilize after a joint replacement.

Short-term rehabilitation stays are also available in Mile Bluff's two nursing & rehabilitation centers. Some patients need more assistance and access to medical services than what can be provided in the home. These services may include daily skilled nursing care and additional rehabilitation.
