Are you living with hearing loss or other ear-related issues?

Many symptoms can be a sign that there are issues in your ears. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, it is important to have your hearing evaluated. This will help to determine if your ear/hearing issues require medical treatment.

  • Sudden or gradual hearing loss
    in either ear
  • Ringing, buzzing, or other noises
    in the head or ear(s)
  • Fluctuating hearing loss
  • Existing hearing loss
  • Frequent exposure to loud noises
  • Dizziness/vertigo (whirling sensation)
  • Pain in the ear
  • Drainage from either ear
  • If you are in need of hearing care, talk to your healthcare provider about a referral for our audiology services. Appointments are typically scheduled within a week's time.

Sometimes hearing issues are not severe and simply require wax to be removed from your ear. We also specialize in personalized ear plugs and other hearing devices to fit your lifestyle. No matter the issue you are having, we will help to find the solution.

If you experience sudden hearing loss, please call 608-847-1414. Emergency hearing issues are often seen the same day.

Diagnostic hearing evaluations are covered by most insurance companies, including Medicare, with a written referral from your healthcare provider. While hearing aids are not covered by Medicare, Wisconsin Medicaid recipients generally have hearing aid coverage. Some commercial insurance companies (ex. Quartz, Dean, GHC) generally provide some hearing aid coverage as well.

When you purchase a hearing aid at Mile Bluff, you will receive a 30-day trial period, three-year repair warranty with loss and damage coverage, and six free service calls following your hearing aid fitting.

Mile Bluff offers 0% interest for 24 months on all hearing aids. For more information, call 608-847-1414.
