Patient & Visitors

Visiting at Mile Bluff

At Mile Bluff, the comfort, safety and care of patients is the top priority. You are encouraged to visit your loved ones in the hospital, but are also advised to consider their needs as well. Visitors play an important role in maintaining the health and wellness of patients.

Also, please note that those visiting after 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays will need to access the facility through the emergency room entrance.

Before you arrive for a visit, you are asked to contact the patient you wish to see. He or she may be scheduled for tests and appointments throughout the day, or need time to rest after a procedure, so it's important for you to know when your loved one will be available for visitors.

Please do not visit if you have the flu or other contagious diseases, such as, chicken pox or measles. Exposure to these and other viruses can pose a great risk not only to the patient you are visiting, but to other patients in the facility.

In addition, it's required that all children who are brought to the facility are supervised at all times, and that all visitors do their best to control their volumes to ensure it's quiet enough for the individuals in patient rooms to heal in peace.

Recording Devices

The protection of confidential patient information, and the rights and privacy of staff members, is extremely important at Mile Bluff. Because of this, all patients and visitors are asked not to use recording devices in public areas of the hospital, nursing & rehabilitation centers, clinics and other facilities. Devices include equipment such as: cameras, cell phone cameras, video recorders, audio recorders and any other type of equipment used to capture or record images and/or sound Your respect for Mile Bluff's patients, residents and staff members is appreciated.

There is a drop-off and pick-up area in front of the main entrance of the hospital, and at all outreach facilities, for those who need it.
