"Going the Extra Mile" for Patients
Mile Bluff is committed to providing compassionate and progressive care.
Whether it be your primary care provider, the nurse who
takes your vitals, the lab worker who draws your blood, the receptionist
who greets you, the food service worker who delivers your dinner, or the
housekeeper who cleans your room, all are committed to providing you with
exceptional care. No matter your reason for visiting, the staff at Mile
Bluff wants to make sure that your experience is above and beyond your
To help recognize employees who provide these great experiences for patients,
a new program has been implemented - Going the Extra Mile (GEM). This
program allows patients, residents and visitors to recognize any staff
member who went above and beyond in his/her interactions and care.
Please take the time to
review us online and share your experiences with us. When you review, please name the employees
who went the the 'extra mile' while providing you with care. They
will get the recognition they deserve.
If you are in any of the Mile Bluff facilities, you can fill out a GEM
card found in the lobby areas. You can place completed cards in the GEM
boxes that are located by the exits, or give the cards to a receptionist
on your way out.
Another way for you to recognize a staff member for going the extra mile
is to fill out a survey if you receive one in the mail. Be sure to mention
any staff members by name who went out of their way to make your visit
a positive experience.
All GEM cards and positive comments from the surveys that include employee
names, are shared with the staff members who are being recognized. Your
feedback helps the Mile Bluff team continue to provide you with exceptional care.
