As the fall activity calendar fills up, be sure to plan on joining the staff of the Necedah Family Medical Center for the 6^th Annual Autumn Scamper 5k.

No matter your age or fitness level, you are invited to join in on the fun to help support the Necedah community. The Autumn Scamper begins at 9 am with a free kids’ race for children up to age 12. The 5k run/walk will start at 9:30 am. Refreshments will be provided for all participants, and everyone will have the chance to win great door prizes! There will also be carnival games and a raffle drawing. Raffle tickets go on sale on September 1 at Necedah Family Medical Center.

The early-bird registration fee for the 5k is $15 on or before September 11. After that time, the event will cost $20. Although the kids’ event is free, shirts for children may be purchased for a small cost. Participants can sign up on-site the morning of the event.

The Autumn Scamper event will begin and end at the Necedah schools.

All proceeds will go to the Necedah School District's after-school program and provide scholarships for high school seniors. All participants are also asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food to benefit the local pantry.

Plan to enjoy time with family and friends, and help a local cause in the process! The event will be held rain or shine.
