“When I was in kindergarten, I really connected with our rural family physicians, and I made the decision then to become a doctor. I was inspired by what they did and how they cared for people, not just in the clinic, but also in how they supported the community. Growing up, I was interested in being that type of doctor. I really enjoy seeing patients out in the community who are happy and healthy. It’s so rewarding to help someone become more whole, healthy, and engaged in daily living.” - Dr. Whitney
