At 1:08 pm, Mile Bluff will be among dozens of organizations across the nation that will simultaneously raise a Donate Life flag and observe a moment of silence to celebrate National Donate Life Month.

The Donate Life Flag is raised at 1:08 pm to recognize the fact that one donor can save eight lives.

It is followed by a one minute and 3 second moment of silence in honor of the more than 103,000 patients currently waiting for a life-saving transplant in the United States.

The public is welcome to attend this brief, but meaningful, event.
