Heidi Finucan named Mile Bluff’s 2026 Rural Health Ambassador

Each year, the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) honors outstanding employees from its member hospitals who go above and beyond to support their organizations and advance rural healthcare.

This year, Emergency Services Director Heidi Finucan has been named Mile Bluff’s Rural Health Ambassador, recognizing her exceptional commitment to the health and wellbeing of our community.

Since joining the Mile Bluff team, Heidi has consistently demonstrated a passion for service through her involvement in both healthcare and community initiatives. Beyond her role at Mile Bluff, she remains deeply engaged in the community—actively participating in her church, Juneau County 4-H, Juneau County Dairy Promotion Council, and other local organizations. She also stays busy helping out on the family farm, supporting her children’s many activities, and organizing the annual Cowtastic CowMOOnity event.

Through her leadership, volunteerism, and genuine care for others, Heidi makes a meaningful impact not only within our organization, but throughout the greater community.

Congratulations to Heidi as we recognize her remarkable service and unwavering dedication to Mile Bluff, her patients, and the greater rural community.
