Going Above and Beyond: Brianna Ennis Named Mighty Oak Award Winner

At Mile Bluff, we are proud to recognize team members who embody strength, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Our Mighty Oak Award honors individuals who stand tall in their dedication—supporting patients, colleagues, and our organization in extraordinary ways. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate our second Mighty Oak Award winner: Brianna Ennis.

Brianna was nominated by not just one, but two colleagues—each sharing powerful examples of her exceptional character, skill, and teamwork.

From a clinical standpoint, Brianna consistently demonstrates what it means to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Her thoroughness and thoughtful approach ensure that every patient she encounters feels safe, supported, and truly cared for. Those who work alongside her have full confidence that when Brianna is on shift, patients are in the very best hands.

But Brianna’s impact goes far beyond her clinical expertise.

She is the definition of a team player, always ready to step in wherever help is needed. Whether supporting her fellow OB team members, assisting providers, or jumping into unfamiliar departments, Brianna shows up with positivity and purpose. When Labor & Delivery is less busy, she doesn’t hesitate to lend a hand in Acute Care, the clinic, Wound Care, or Infusion—even stepping in to cover sick calls without prior experience in those areas. Each time, she approaches the opportunity with a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude, quickly becoming a valued contributor to every team she joins.

Her flexibility and selflessness have not gone unnoticed. Providers and staff across multiple departments have shared how much they appreciate Brianna’s support, often noting the seamless way she integrates into their workflows and the outstanding care she continues to provide.

Beyond her skills and adaptability, Brianna brings something equally important to our organization: a consistently positive spirit. Her colleagues describe her as intelligent, forward-thinking, and genuinely invested in the success of the organization. She leads by example, never speaking negatively and always focusing on what’s best for patients and her team.
