Construction Update
In November 2022, Mile Bluff purchased the former Shopko building in Mauston. Now referred to as the "Gateway Center," it provides more that 26,000 square feet of space that will serve as the new home for Mile Bluff's Mauston dialysis unit, urgent care, and Mile Bluff Pharmacy.
October Progress:
Crews on site: Market & Johnson, Kish Electric, Crossroads Construction, Gegare Tile, Winona Controls, Poellinger Inc., Macco's Commercial Interiors
- Installation of nurse station walls in treatment area
- Ceiling grid installation in pharmacy work area and in corridors
- Countertop installation in treatment area
- Installation of tile at drinking fountain locations and reception area
- Devices and lighted signs installed in treatment area
- Finish condenser piping to air handler
- Installation of lights in ceiling grid in pharmacy office area
- Continue piping in mechanical room
- Nichiha panels installed around treatment entrance canopy and front entrance
- Rubber floor tiles installed in urgent care nurse station and treatment work rooms

For You. With You. - with the goal of raising $5 million to help offset the costs of this
$17 million project.
