Construction Update
from Mile Bluff's Gateway Project
In November 2022, Mile Bluff purchased the former Shopko building in Mauston. Now referred to as the "Gateway Building," it provides more that 26,000 square feet of space that will serve as the new home for Mile Bluff's Mauston dialysis unit, urgent care, and Mile Bluff Pharmacies.
April Progress:
Crews on site: Market & Johnson, Hallmark Drywall, Kish Electric, Gerke Excavating, Momchilovich Drywall and Painting, Master Metals
- Demo exterior stone
- Demo drywall and studs at window openings
- Wood backing for cabinets and medical equipment
- Hang corridor walls
- Fire tape and smoke seal corridor walls
- Frame Urgent Care area
- In wall box install for power and low voltage devices
- In wall pipe installation before drywall installation
- Excavated for Stone Fin bases
- Prime and paint mechanical room before installation of piping and ductwork
- Hang large ductwork in corridors
