Athletic Training

Athletic training services are provided by licensed athletic trainers at area schools.  Our team provides fitness and wellness programs to the community, and also works in the industrial setting.

High School Athletics
Licensed athletic trainers do more than tape ankles and assess athletic injuries.  They also work with dietitians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to insure that student athletes receive the treatment that gets them back on the playing field.  Athletic trainers not only work to prevent sports injuries, they also treat and rehabilitate injuries after they occur.

In schools, our athletic trainers:
-evaluate injuries
-rehabilitate injuries
-design personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs for injured athletes
-instruct coaches and athletes on injury prevention techniques through proper exercise and body mechanics
-provide ImPACT testing and concussion management

Community Wellness Programs
Through the year our athletic trainers provide Wet & Well class, an aquatic fitness program for people of all ages and ability levels.  Not only does this class help improve fitness and your overall health, it has helped people who have arthritis, fibromyalgia, joint problems, and range of motion issues.

Personalized Fitness is also available.  Our athletic trainers work with people of all ages and ability levels to help them meet their fitness and weight-loss goals.

Industrial Rehabilitation
The goal of our industrial rehabilitation program is to establish and maintain a healthy and productive working environment for all employees.  That is accomplished through early intervention strategies, injury assessment and treatment, and employee education sessions.  Our athletic trainers have been working in several local industries to help employees prevent injuries and stay safe at their job.  Learn more about industrial rehabilitation program and how it can make a difference in your business.
