Is your cholesterol at a healthy level? Do you know your specific risks for developing diabetes and/or heart disease?
If you responded no to any of these questions and want to know the answers, be sure to attend one of our health fairs! The community is welcome to come for free blood pressure screenings, free blood sugar analysis, and free risk factor appraisals done by Mile Bluff’s healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to discuss your specific risks for developing diabetes and heart disease with a Mile Bluff healthcare professional as well. Mile Bluff’s healthcare professionals will review the results with you right after your tests are completed, and give you tips on how to reduce your risks for developing diabetes and heart disease. Results will be sent to your primary care provider as well. The information obtained from these tests, along with the educational tools you will receive from the healthcare professionals, are the first steps in becoming proactive in your health and reducing your risk for developing disease.
