Necedah Family Medical Center provides care for ALL generations

Whether you are a family of one, or have a house full of children, Mile Bluff - Necedah Family Medical Center can meet your healthcare needs.  Through its wide variety of services, the Necedah Family Medical Center provides care for all generations.

Patients can receive maternity care, family medicine services, pediatric care, lab testing, nutrition guidance, X-rays, foot care and hearing services.  There are also health fairs, screening events and childbirth education classes held throughout the year.  No matter the age or size of your family, the Necedah Family Medical Center can care for you.

Angela Gatzke-Plamann, MD

As a family medicine physician, Angela Gatzke-Plamann is able to care for every member of the family.  She provides general exams, maternity care, joint injections, IUD placements, in-office biopsies and more.  She enjoys living and working in a small community because she has the opportunity to really get to know her patients.  The doctor commented, “Whether it’s diagnosing diabetes or bringing your baby into the world, I look forward to caring for your family!”

Before joining Mile Bluff’s medical staff in 2010, Dr. Gatzke-Plamann worked for three years as medical resident in Vermont, and then completed a year-long obstetrics fellowship.  During her fellowship, she gained extensive training and experience in maternity care and delivering babies.  She has already begun to put that knowledge to good use with the expectant mothers she is currently treating.

When she’s not working, Dr. Gatzke-Plamann enjoys doing volunteer work, and being outdoors with her husband and golden retriever.

Ryan Plamann, MD

Since the fall of 2010, Dr. Ryan Plamann has been treating pediatric patients (ages birth to 21 years) in Necedah and New Lisbon.  The doctor has a diverse pediatrics background, ranging from working with infants, to serving as the sideline physician for high school student athletes. He enjoys outdoor activities, has a special interest in sports medicine, and is thoroughly enjoying becoming a part of Necedah’s rural community.

After earning his medical degree, the doctor gained his experience through his three-year pediatric residency, followed by a year-long pediatric clinical appointment.  His message to the community is this:  “Whether it’s a broken bone or a fever, I look forward to keeping your children healthy as they grow.”

Doctor Plamann provides well-child exams, sports physicals, A.D.D. evaluations, splints, casts and more. 

Tracie Schmidt, PA-C

As a family medicine practitioner, Tracie treats patients of all ages.  She conducts routine wellness exams, diagnostic visits, and is certified to provide Botox® treatments for excessive sweating issues.  She offers a variety of in-office procedures, such as joint injections, and is also able to treat acute injuries.

Tracie joined Mile Bluff’s team in 2004.  Prior to that, she gained her experience in family medicine, women’s health and general surgery.  Having this diverse background allows her to care for patients of any age.  Tracie states, “Whether it’s you, your child or your grandmother, I look forward to caring for your family.”

She and her husband Erik enjoy traveling, camping and raising their young children.  They appreciate living in a rural setting, as it allows their children to experience so much of what life can offer.  Tracie especially enjoys the opportunity she has to develop relationships with her patients and their families.
