Tina Crawford: Proud to work at Mile Bluff Medical Center by Amanda Emery
An example of one such dedicated individual is Help Desk Analyst, Tina Crawford. She has been at the Mauston facility for 18 years. She is most recognized by her co-workers as the voice that answers calls when there are questions regarding anything in the Information Technology (IT) Department. Tina says she is proud to be part of the Mile Bluff team. She explains, “I have stayed here all these years because I truly have a job that I enjoy going to every day. I take pride in my job. Mile Bluff is a great place to work because the organization, as a whole, is so family-oriented.” Tina continued, “I enjoy working with the variety of people across the various departments. I have the opportunity to constantly learn while on the job, and that is what I like the most.” In addition to working in the IT Department, Tina is also the chairperson of the Patient Experience Committee. She explains what that involves, “Over the years, I have had the opportunity to express ideas that I felt would have a positive effect on our facility and our patients. Our committee is about improving every part of Mile Bluff. If our employees are happy and satisfied, that will spill over into their response and treatment of our patients, and that ultimately makes being at our hospital a more positive experience for everyone.” Tina is just one of the many employees who is proud to be a Mile Bluff team member.
