Dancer's perform at Terrace Heights

Melisa’s dancers bring show to Terrace Heights Retirement Community

On Wednesday, May 12, four groups of students from Dance Art Centers by Melisa performed at Terrace Heights Retirement Community in Mauston. The event has become an annual tradition and serves as a dress rehearsal for the dancers’ spring recital.

The performers are grouped by age, and are named after precious stones. The Rubies are three to four years old, and the Sapphires are five and six. Each group performed a ballet and a tap routine; and as usual, the evening proved to be thoroughly entertaining for all in attendance.

This is just one of the many special events Terrace Heights Retirement Community hosts throughout year. The public is invited to join the tenants of Terrace Heights on Wednesday, June 23 at 2 pm, for a Musical Mary Siefert performance. Sapphires1:

These five and six-year-old Sapphires danced to Stand by Me for their ballet routine, and Leader of the Pack for their tap selection.

Sapphires2:

This group of Sapphires performed its ballet dance to Chim Chim Cheree, and its tap number to the music of Sound your Funky Horn.

Rubies1:

These three and four-year-old Rubies performed a ballet dance to Little April Showers, and their tap routine was choreographed to Listen to the Music.
