Outpatient services include:

Cardiac Rehabilitation—Supervised exercise and education program for those who have had a heart attack, heart surgery, angioplasty or have risk factors for heart disease. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. May last for up to 12 weeks.

Diabetes Self Management Education—Learn how to live an active, productive and healthy life... Participants are taught self-care skills that promote optimal diabetes management. Education is provided on an individual basis and through group sessions at Hess Memorial.

* preconception care, management during pregnancy and gestational diabetes management

Tobacco Cessation

Mile Bluff offers three ways to quit:

1) Group smoking cessation classes

*Meet one hour per week for 4 weeks

*Offered in Feb., May, Aug. & Nov.

*Can be arranged for groups of 5 or more.

*Cost is $25 per person

2) Individual counseling sessions

* 4 individualized appointments

*Cost is $28 per appointment

* Now covered by Medicare Part B

3) Phone counseling
