Garden Grove & The Meadows Friendly, Quality Care for Older Adults These are the Skilled Nursing Areas at Crest View. Each wing houses 22 residents and includes one isolation room with private bath for special needs residents. Within their room, residents have access to a bathroom, a window of their own next to their bed, and oxygen and vacuum at each bedside if so required by the resident. A supervised dining area is located on each unit for residents who require assistance with their meals. A whirlpool bath and shower area with attached bathroom facilities to the tub area is located on each wing which is accessible to residents from each hallway. A patio will be available in the future that will be located on the outside entry area of each unit for residents who are able to sit outside if they so desire. Woodland This wing is the Alzheimer’s/dementia unit which accommodates 16 residents. It is a closed unit and is self-contained. One unique feature of this unit is the continuous, circular hallway. When entering the unit, you can start and finish in the same place. This was designed so confused residents never end up at a dead end. There is a dining area and living area with a television. The residents eat together in a supervised dining area and participate in most activities in both areas. There is a secured area outside so the residents in this unit are able to enjoy some time outdoors. The unit also has a serving "kitchen," a nurses station and one bathing room. Nursing staff provides intensive skilled and skilled care around the clock.
