Part of the community for over 100 years

Mile Bluff has been serving the community for well over a century. In 1883, Dr. J.S. Hess, Sr. started what is now the Mile Bluff organization. He saw the bigger picture - helping a community grow by meeting the healthcare needs of area residents. Hess' dream grew into a multi-facility organization that now serves a population of more than 55,000 individuals in a six-county region.

Aside from our 40-bed acute care hospital, two 60-bed nursing homes, 12-bed assisted living facility, 32-apartment retirement community, state-of-the-art sleep center, and five outreach medical centers, Mile Bluff offers a wide variety of specialty care services. In addition, over 50 visiting specialists from 15 fields of practice see patients at Mile Bluff.

Mile Bluff Medical Center continually strives to bring sophisticated medical services, expert healthcare providers, and the latest technologies locally - to keep your care right here during times of illness, injury, and even wellness. No matter the stage or phase, Mile Bluff takes great pride in providing families with healthcare evolving for life.
